Final Call: We Want To Hear From You!

Working to build a school that we all can be proud of takes collaboration and patience. As a leader, I want change yesterday. I have learned that change takes time, but one must ensure that each step is forward progress. Here's where you come in—I can do this without you! I know that experiences may have broken trust and made you feel like you must survive rather than thrive here. I am working to change that.

Please take the time to complete this survey and give me your honest and constructive feedback. Your responses will help us understand how to support your child better and strengthen the partnership between home and school. This survey focuses on key areas like communication, engagement, and student support.

Please complete the questions below. Your honest input will guide our efforts to improve the Memorial Middle School experience for all families.

Memorial Basketball Game Reminders

School spirit thrives at our Memorial basketball games. Many students, even our recent graduates, want to attend. We are thrilled that this is the case. There are some important reminders that we need to emphasize:

  1. All students must leave the campus and return at game time. No students are allowed to stay at school and wait.

  2. School rules apply at games. Please ensure we represent ourselves, our families, and our school properly.

  3. Food and drinks are not permitted in the gym. When games are completed, and our custodial staff comes to clean, the home side is left trashy while the visitors' side is maintained. This should not be the case.

  4. There is no reentry at games. Maintaining safety means limiting traffic.

Restructuring Tutoring

Happy New Year! I hope this message finds you well. I want to take a moment to thank you for your continued patience and understanding as we work to launch our tutoring program. Ensuring our students receive the support they need is my highest priority, and I am committed to making it happen.

While there has been a limited response from teachers to lead tutoring sessions due to their many professional and personal commitments, I’ve been actively seeking alternative solutions. I am pleased to share that I have partnered with our high school’s Honor Society and Math Honor Society to recruit student volunteers to provide math tutoring for our children. Additionally, I will personally support this initiative to ensure its success.

Thank you for your trust and for being part of this collaborative effort to ensure the success of our brilliant students. Your partnership means the world to me, and I will continue to do everything I can to meet the needs of our children.

Respectfully,

Mr. Morgan
