Memorial Message

Adapt. Believe. Connect.

Instruction Must Be Our Priority

Thank you for being active partners in our school community. We appreciate the chance to connect with each of you when you visit. Your involvement is important to us. To make sure we’re always putting students' learning first, we are focusing on prioritizing instruction across the school.

Our commitment as school leaders is to support and coach our teachers in ways that help students achieve their very best. That means focusing on lessons that are meaningful and responsive to each student’s background and needs. To do this effectively, I need your help.

Starting now, if you’d like to meet with a member of Memorial administration, please make an appointment. In case of an emergency, our guidance counselor will be available to provide immediate assistance. This will allow us to stay focused on the work needed to meet and exceed educational goals for every student.

Prioritizing instruction is essential for our school’s success, and with your support, we’ll continue to make Memorial Middle School a place where all students thrive.

Dress Code Reminders

As part of preparing our students for real-world success, we uphold a dress code that mirrors the standards they’ll encounter in various professional settings. While we recognize that certain systems may be open to critique, it’s essential that our students can adapt and surpass these expectations.

Please remember that Physical Education is not an exception to our dress code. Students should come to school each day in the appropriate attire and be ready for the week ahead. Starting now, students who arrive out of dress code will receive a general detention the following day.

We appreciate your support in making this a consistent standard for our school. If you have any questions or need clarification, please feel free to reach out.

Thank you for helping us make this the norm moving forward.
