🎭 Annie Jr. Was a Showstopper! 🎭

Our talented Memorial Theater Ensemble brought the house down with their incredible performances of Annie Jr. Both the Blue Cast and Red Cast delivered powerful vocals, heartfelt acting, and show-stopping energy that lit up the stage and left the audience cheering for more!

A huge shoutout to Ms. Genzer and Mr. Rosie for the countless hours, dedication, and passion they poured into preparing our students for their big moment. Their leadership and love for the arts were the heartbeat behind this successful production.

And to our exceptional students—thank you for sharing your talent, teamwork, and commitment to excellence. You created a performance that was truly magical and will be remembered for years to come.

Bravo, Memorial Theater Ensemble! 👏🎶🌟

The ClassH-room Battle!

🎉 Memorial Goes Head-to-Head on The ClassH-Room! 🎉

We’re thrilled to share that three of our incredible students—Gabriel Brett, Audrianna Tsang, and Benjamin Moses—stepped into the spotlight to compete on The ClassH-Room, facing off against Memorial’s own Ms. Sidney, Ms. Bingham, and Ms. Roberts in a fun and fast-paced academic showdown!

From pop culture trivia to questions about photosynthesis, both teams brought their A-game, school spirit, and plenty of laughs. It was a battle of brains and pride, and we can’t wait for the world to see how Memorial Middle School shines on screen.

📺 The episode will air this fall—stay tuned for the official date!

A Word About Safety & Expectations

Vision

The close of the school year brings sunshine, celebrations, and—for some—temptation. The warmth in the air sometimes gives rise to choices that fall short. As principal, I bear the weighty responsibility of ensuring that Memorial remains a safe and welcoming space where every student has the opportunity to thrive. That means making hard decisions, especially when the actions of a few threaten the experience of the many.

Here’s the tension we all wrestle with: we crave grace when it's our child who errs, but demand justice when we are wronged. Memorial sits at that intersection. Community is built on accountability. And when that community is harmed, so too comes the responsibility and the consequence of making things right.

I encourage every family to talk with their students. Remind them that who they are and how they show up matters. From now through June 30, our expectations remain firm. Why? Because our students deserve nothing less.
